25yrd Sprints

25ryd Sprints x 6 reps | 10s Recovery 

Record time of each sprint.

  • You will generally see it run off a 35m distance however, you can use the 25m yard lines for ease.
  • Very common speed & recovery test,

     Test Instructions:

    • Players sprint from baseline – 25yrd line or 25yrd – halfway line (or if preferred the longer test distance 35m)
    • 10s recovery
    • Repeat for a total of 6 reps
    • Record the sprint time of each rep
      • Quicker the time the quicker the athlete (straight line only)
      • The less variation in times between the 6 reps, the better the players recovery is.

     

     

    *** If Completing this Fitness Test in combination with 1 or more others ensure, you allow sufficient break time (2-3min) to recover between tests, otherwise testing parameters and results will be affected. Additionally you should perform them in the same order and breaks on each retest***
